The first picture of Anne Hathaway in her Catwoman costume has arrived ahead of The Dark Knight Rises, and it's definitely a departure from the usual image we have of Batman's foxy feline foe.

Anne's costume reflects the shift toward a more "tactical" Catwoman (AKA Selina Kyle) without the fetish-style suit, whip and cat ears worn by the likes of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry. Instead this Catwoman is straddling the motorcycle known as the Batpod and wearing what appear to be night vision goggles.It's still unclear how Selina Kyle fits into director Christopher Nolan's third Batman movie, but information continues to trickle out about the highly-anticipated film. The first teaser trailer for the movie has already revealed the movie's main villain, Bane, played by Tom Hardy. We still don't know if Catwoman will be a criminal or a crimebuster in the movie. Hopefully we'll see her in a trailer sometime soon.
