It was a meeting of the supermodels on May 25 in Venice, CA, as Victoria's Secret Angels Selita Ebanks and Alessandra Ambrosio led the charge to shed some light on the terrible social issues affecting the people of the African nation of Sierra Leone.
Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio looks so amazing hottt in her beautiful expensive dress.

Ebanks, who is the face and voice of the charity organization called Shine on Sierra Leone, hosted the posh party sponsored by LA Confidential magazine and held at an incredible Moroccan mansion owned by fashion photographer Philip Dixon. The mansion, that just happens to be on the market for a cool $8.25 million, had even the most privileged partygoers gasping in appreciation as they wandered the multi-level concrete structure. Up on one of the massive balconies overlooking the wild cacti garden, Selita and Alessandra posed prettily, then joined partygoers in the huge open-air living room for a Krug Brut champagne toast and an Ethiopian food feast.
And the bubbly was obviously working, as Ebanks later greeted the assembled philanthropists by joking, "I have to say thank you to Krug, because I am heavily sauced!" But then she and Tiffany Persons, the famed casting agent and head of Shine on Sierra Leone, both got serious, reminding us all that one in eight mothers dies during childbirth in that African country, and one in four children will die by the age of five there. Sobering statistics, and ones that supporters in the crowd, including Maria Bello, Mira Sorvino, Jason Momoa (the new "Conan the Barbarian"), Lisa Bonet and "CSI: NY" star Hill Harper are hoping to change.
But not so much Bill Maher, who seemingly couldn't care less. He reinforced the fact that he is a jerk (which Hollywood insiders have known for years), by breaking into the midst of Ebanks' impassioned plea for aid to announce that he had "an 8AM plane to catch" and had to leave, dragging his embarrassed (and half his age) girlfriend off with him. Shocked partygoers couldn't stop talking about his brutish behavior over coffee and dessert afterward, but happily, the main focus of the night was also not forgotten, to shine a spotlight on the needy women and children of Sierra Leone.
